Instrument Trees / Yamaha YPG-625 itree
I have finally completed the Yamaha YPG-625 itree. With this tree, not only can I create or playback any NWC2 file using my Yamaha, but I can now control the tones with rich quality. Using the manual's voice list, I found out that using MSB and LSB patches can let me hear MIDI playback using those nice advanced tones and not the basic GM tones which are scattered all over the XGlite list. I can even save a file (when my MIDI device is chosen) and it automatically plays back tone tones on my keyboard, just with that file. Other NWC files use the computer's synth. That's awesome in my opinion. There are only two problems. I know it's not related to NWC, but when I play MIDI files outside of the program, it uses the low quality basic GM tones. Is there a way that I can control them while not using NWC2..we all know they get messed up when you import them in to the program. I want to know if there's a free MIDI management program where I can edit the instrument patches. I have SynthFont, but it won't let me do that. The other problem is explained in the itree.

You guys were talking about me and I wasn't there.

That lest time I was in the forum was when I did the first two posts about this signature.

To tell you the truth. I don't use the forum at all. I don't like it anymore. It has changed.

If the old forum from the NWC homepage still existed I'd be using it alot. I like that Old forum style, not this technical new one.

Now you know about this, if you want to talk with me...you must do it in the NoteWorthy Newsgroup.
I use it everyday.

BTW - I don't have a HUGE signature there.

NWC can be used for lead sheets.
Just download this NWC file in your templates folder.

Warren, In music theory, I drew my ties coming straight out of the note, like you explained. My theory teacher told me that ties don't touch the note. Cleric, the way to tell the difference, is that ties are with note the same pitch while slurs have different pitches.

With synthfont, you really don't need another, if your card doesn't support those soundfonts, just use synthfont, to make it sound like......woooow.

I would reccomend getting Synthfont, a program that can take midi files and make them into into audio files like MP3's and also make them sound realistic too. The realisticness comes from soundfonts. There are many free sf2's online.

Eric...This attach option is also good because I no longer have to E-mail just Richard Woodroffe or David Palmquist nwc or nwc2 files I need help with!!!! I can use the help of approx. 250 poeple instead of 2!!!!!! Due to that I now can attach the NWC files!!!!!!!!

I answered you because I wanted to let you know I am now in control of the forum and Eric is gone......NOT!!!!!!! LOL Just Kidding..OK..I really answered you because I like to help people on the forum..same as you and all the other forumers (LOL..I like that word). I helped you by letting you know that if you buy the CD (or if you have it) you can get all those profile options. That's all. Do you have the CD?? Reply me saying that you do or you don't..OK?

Sorry I was joking with you like that..I just wanted to let you know that if you buy the CD, you can get those options. BTW, was does that mean, is it German, Polish, Dutch, Italian, Pakistanian, Japanese?????

Oh, and I forgot, If you aren't a registered user, then there is nothing I can do for you. Maybe Eric can buy you a FREE copy of the NWC CD, if you stop acting like you did in the previous forum topics, and beg him into giving you one. If not, too bad.

This is because you are not an upgraded member. You must be a NWC2 Tester for those special profile options. Do you have the NWC CD? Did you order it from NoteWorthy Software? If you answered yes to both of these, then you can have those special profile options!!! If you have the CD, you are eligible to the public preview of NWC 2. Please go here https://www.noteworthysoftware.com/nwc2upg/. You can then enter your account info and get NWC2. If you don't want NWC2, but just want the special profile options in the forum you are discussing about, keep going in the eligibility wizard, and enter your forum account name and password. You will then be a NWC2 tester!!!! You will have all those special profile options!!!! Good Luck.

CBM, A very useful tip I did with hiding the tempos like that. It makes it look like there was no tempo change at all, and it adds a feel the NWC can support 7-lets 4-lets, and 2-lets even though they can't.

I have found a way to make septuplets by changing the tempo!!!So far, I the piece I'm doing, I didn't have to pad with rests in the other staves!! Yipee! I will be submitting the piece in the Scriptorium. You can see the [glow=red,2,300]septuplets[/glow] there!! nwc-scriptorium.org. The piece is Scotch Poem by MacDowell.

[glow=yellow,2,300]Aha!![/glow] Found it. Bridge, or wait......Bridge the gap too? the NWC file told me that Bridge the Gap was the Expanded FM (What in the heck is FM????? I've heard of it before) version of bridge.

Oh..BTW, Rich, I think you should make a seperate section in the scriptorium for Fred Nachbaur. he is cool, with good songs, And not all of them are in there either.

KAT, I am not, I have experimented, and no longer, need help. I am satisified with what I have!!!! I used both your method and Richard's, with using his trills. I was wrong, you guys (yuck - guys and gals) had helped me through. It was my fault to act "user111ish" on you guys. After I had posted that, I changed my mind, to help myself, but using your ideas. Thank You.

Yes, I do understand, that I is impossible to immitate the sound, but your method is closest as I can get.
