I've been using the niversoft online converter, but I always felt guilty 'stealing' cpu-cycles from someone else. now with your tool I can eat all my own cycles and thanks for the pointer to the user/pass here - I missed it first time 'round (and posted a stupid question on your site - sorry)
and just double-checking - the 'nwcconverter-2.0.05.exe' is a standalone executable, right?
I couldn't run NWCCONVERTER on my Windows 11 PC. Please see the attached.
The error occurred during reading the configuration file. It seems to be incorrect. You can find this file in the map 'C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\NWCCONVERTOR\nwcconvertor.nwc'. If you attach that file, I can look at it to see what's wrong.

You know Bart, it’s difficult for people to comprehend my music often, my mother often says it feels like my music needs something that something is wrong with my music yet I do not see what that is. It makes sense to me the main beholder so why not in others. Is it that it is not properly written or am I challenging the accepted norms with “nu” sophistication? Sometimes I get so engrossed in the music “dat” I lose my perspective of workability in my mind and ears as an even digital phenomenon not just like acoustic harmonic one day in the vexations by Satie. I have Without a doubt composed good ones and I accidentally lost two and several others but it’s not difficult to see as I write 100’s of them by now 1000’s. I once had a German up write old piano as a gift by a musical family and I never tuned it once period, & for years composed for it often and never lost it’s beauty of tone. I probably should have recorded a scene I once pulled off by myself although The nearby neighbors were listening me playing a piano in a rec hall and lasted 8 hours long non-stop about over 160 compositions by me & some altered by me by composers like Scarlatti & Bach & at the end I just laughed almost Maniacally the only response dat resulted of course by now I don’t think I can do it again as my age & status wouldn’t permit it but I would certainly pull a world record on YouTube as the longest piano performance in a row lasting 1/3rd of a day but who would be insane to watch for dat long?

Individual notes combine indeed well into normal chords. But the created chord progressions don't tell a story and it is therefore difficult to build correct expectations about what will follow. Cadences are the trivial tools, but are absent. Also release moments after building up tension are not present in the composition. Real composers certainly have even a bunch of other tools to keep listeners attracted for a whole composition. Not using these tricks makes that the piece of music becomes boring after a while.
On the micro-level the generated chords are good, but on the macro-level there is no story in the music.

Haven't composed for pc in years.... but here i present the default simple possibilities of noteworthy regarding default notation parameters &/or simplex modern composition. Not really meant to be performed as i did not but i suppose on a 2 manual harpsichord will suffice regarding the unisons in demand. A bach-like conclusion and varied numerical procedures solved as they work confirmed by ear and mind. A set of oscillating arithmetical functions yet an impromptu-like manual sequentia articulate. I started composing it in my head yesterday and this one very close to the cognitive original which is of course fuzzy in nature regarding the following second-nature neuro-mechanics of such an approach to musical construction. I hope you will like it for the esthetic of romantic educational purposes. Thank you fellow noteworthians! (12:10 p 04212025)To Bart,Thank you for your reply Bart, your right, i do not utilize the professional tools in a composition i've got a lot to learn & desire to use them and i guess at least it's only 1:29 long to bear the boringness of extreme counter-judgement in counterpoint. My music is like walking thru an endless hall of paintings i always think without as you said a story & some people even say that theres nothing to learn in my works but i think those things to learn are less obvious than apparent. I usually compose better with my fingers but almost never post them, mostly computerized works are dominant i post on the web with a few exceptions. Here is the latest edit " Elders of the goblin king ", the title comes second to match the latest variation on the multi algorithm. Inspiration from The movie “ Labyrinth “ starring David Bowie. Differential-unrelated-note=paralleled octave U.H.F. or ultra-high-frequencied staff dubbing not just for mnemonic & insatiable purposes but also for extramusical applications. The ears & the mind won't hear them but the brain will thus carrying an immediate affective physiological order in response in a certain pertinent direction that would be illuminated by deciphering to determine whether it's premeditated or merely consequentially musical. Parallel U.H.F. octaves or differential-cohesive invisible part to the score to serve as affective even if delayed flux pertinations for an academic yield on multiple purpose types in the raw scientific field be it to increase the intellect or manipulation of certain brain parameters such as biofeedback, altered brain states , & all the parascientific field of musicology & the human body to central nervous system regarding musical &/or post-musical applications. Hell, if you want to go after proving Aliens exist, U.H.F. scans is a way to do it, & i think tachyon particles can shed a light into many mysteries regarding distance & temporality itself. New post: " Bach's Virtuosity Clockwork " =The inspiration from old series of The Outer limits season 1 episode 5 " The Sixth Finger”. The BWV 847 the ultimate manner of playing it. My version has the same manner of playing as the episode with new additional changes in octave, single notes, & manner of dexterity performance. A 4-part work in a single praeludium as well as the BWV850 also 4-part as the treble clef does 3-parts one in octaves, the other in triads, & the 3rd in intervening changes in the ongoing sequence of it's after all linear direction and the bass clef one part & the bass clef the low 4th part maintaining harmony & concrete continuum foundation. Changes counterpointing the original scores are illustrated in text in the NWC file score. Episode No.5 ix great, i love the marriage theme between magnum classical music & the possibilities of the human intellect.
