Does version 2 host VST instruments?

Or will I still need a separate VST host program to playback through soft synths?

Not any more then v1.75 does. But of course, you know this, so what is your real question?

As Rick states, NWC2 uses the same synth access technology as NWC1, so it does not act as a VST host.

Thanks for the replies. I'm using 1.75 with GPO Studio and it works great, so no complaints. I just wondered.

GPO Studio states that it only works with their Personal Orchestra ($249).  Any less expensive options?
