Title: Does version 2 host VST instruments?
Post by: fiziwig on 2007-10-15 03:22 am
Or will I still need a separate VST host program to playback through soft synths?

As Rick states, NWC2 uses the same synth access technology as NWC1, so it does not act as a VST host.

Thanks for the replies. I'm using 1.75 with GPO Studio and it works great, so no complaints. I just wondered.

GPO Studio states that it only works with their Personal Orchestra ($249).  Any less expensive options?
