From .sib to .nwc

Is there a way to change .sib file to an .nwc file?

Create a midi file and import it into NWC.
Since 1998

I don't have access to the sibulus program.  How do I create a midi?

If you don't have access to the Sibellius program then you can't export to midi.

I presume that you have got hold of a copy of a Sibellius music file on the net and you want to put it into NoteWorthy.

The only thing I can think of is, if you have Sharpeye, to print out the music using Scorch (Hmmm  does Scorch print - not sure) and then scan in the music and use Sharpeye to generate an MXML file and feed that into NoteWorthy using Nicolas Hatier's MXML to NWC2 conversion program  mxml2nwcc.exe

If you don't have Sharpeye/MXML2EXE/NWC2  then print out the Score and re-enter manually !

Jerry, it's a bit frustrating, but can you go back to the person who gave you the SIB file and ask to have it exported to a midi file for you?  Then you could open that in NWC and fiddle around with it.

Another thing you could try is downloading a Sibelius demo, opening the song and exporting to Midi.  Go here http://www.sibelius.com/cgi-bin/download/get.pl?com=sh&prod=sibdemo

Other than that, I'd follow Richard's suggestion re Scorch and Sharpeye.
