UNUSUAL TIED NOTE GROUPINGS

I know the triplet feature faily well, but some classical guitar pieces like most
other instruments call for some strange groupings like 6 in the time of one
which can be overcome by grouping two sets of triplets.Iam busy trying this study
by Fernando Sor Opus 35(23) .Other groupings used in 32's are 5 notes and 7
in the time of one.Looking at a Bach Piano Study some studies call for 12 ,16 and even 24 notes to a beat.Is there some trick out there using NWC 1.75b or is this
a little bonus one can look forword to in NWC 2 ,without affecting the price to much.

"N-tuplets" have been asked for over the years.

No problem.
Assuming the beat is a quarter note, 12=32^nd-note triplets, 16=64^th-notes, and 24=64^th-note triplets.
Fives and 7s (and any other [higher] prime numbers require a bit more work.

Some people just change the tempo and put hidden rests and text to give the appearance of x-tuplets

It's finicky. If you work with more than one staff, you'll need to pad the other staffs with hidden rests to make the bar lines align.

Hi everyone,
I have just had a lovely dream and it seems that the creators of NWC followed
Einstein ,when he stated "things should be as simple as possible but no simpler
than that" .It seems K.A.T is pretty close if not spot on and Warren thanks for all your trouble Ive down loaded your referal .As K.A.T pionts out on even multiples of 3 eg 6 ,12 and 24 we could carry on.
But odd numbers like 7 and 5 still require some research.But what dose work
is the following.
1. Lets say we want to group 6 x16 = a crochet we type them in as usual and still,
here comes the little trick ,use the Triplet Beam in the tools section.
2. The process works the same with 32's and I have no reason to doupt 64's
   as well.
3. You can also do 12x16 or 24x16 depending on the time signature although you
   still have the triplet beam above the grouping you can always write the approriate
   number 6, 12 or 24 at the bottom of the group. I'm sure even the most staunch of
   purists would understand, unless of cause they are looking for any one of the usual
   excuses for not being able to read and play the part.
