Stuck pedal makes other part stacatto. 2018-02-10 08:24 pm I was revisiting a Grieg sonata I worked on quite a few years ago to put pedal markings in it. The last pedal mark I had was down and until I fixed it the violin part had nothing but short notes, regardless of note lengths and slurs. A score review showed each staff with a different midi channel (not 10). Any idea why?TIA Quote Selected
Re: Stuck pedal makes other part stacatto. Reply #1 – 2018-02-10 11:20 pm Yeah, the sustain suppresses note off. After a while, the synth exceeds the number of simultaneous tones it can produce, so some must be dropped. Each synth has its own way of handling this. Quote Selected 1 Likes
