Wheel mouse in print preview

Does anyone else miss not having their wheel mouse available to scroll up and down when you're zoomed in on a print preview?  I mean, yeah, I can use the scroll bar, but what if I want to be lazy and just scroll my mouse wheel?  Just wondering if this is worthy of submitting as a feature request or if I'm just being TOO lazy... :)

Mice and wheels...

This cat went to heaven. It was a regular cat heaven, because his every wish was granted. Everything he wanted, and asked, was seen to, and for quick service there were mice on rollerskates that brought exotic, or regular, cat food, milk, fluffy toys, you name it.

When the cat was asked, after some time: How do you like it here?
the answer was: Splendid! Splendid! Especially those Meals on Wheels.

You must have a software problem. My mouse wheels upwards , sideways etc print preview , everything.NWC 1 or 2.
I would go mad without it.You just need the right driver or software. And the software is not tied to a brand of mouse .I use the same software on several different mice .Also, many mouses?? (mice) have a third button click for the thumb or even sometimes by depressing the wheel. This can be programmed to do various functions. Very good when set on "Close Program",especially on line, all those advertising pop-ups don't stand a chance! One click and they,re gone.

There is no native (generic) built-in support for the mouse wheel in Print Preview at the moment. This could possibly appear in later releases, though.

Cursor keys and wheel support.  Print Preview has the look and feel of Windows 3.1
Surely it could at least function like Windows 95.

I'd like:

a. Updates to be prioritized based on the age of requests and the number of times people made them.  The last update with the text export feature is a nice-to-have, but there are long-outstanding deficiencies that really need to be dealt with before new features are added.

b. To have the mouse wheel supported in both the edit and preview windows.  I'd consider this to be a medium level priority since mouse wheels are now very common.

c.  To have Page Up and Page Down function in the preview windows - this would eliminate a few awkward and non-intuitive hand movements currently needed to change pages.  I'd suggest medium to low priority.

d.  It would be nice to have the option to display two pages side by side in the preview pane - but a low priority.

d.  The slur deficiencies and lack of n-tuplets need to be at the top of the priority list.

My rant for the day.

Vertical scroll with the mouse wheel is supported in the edit window.
To have it do anything more in the edit window would mean the loss of the Staff Context Menu (activated by clicking the middle button).

The Staff Context Menu is not the most useful thing in the world. I would not mourn its loss.

I'm with you David. Let's get on to those n-tuplets and slurs for goodness sake!
