Chords

I am trying to create a song for my girlfriend using sheet music. I am relatively new at creating music using NoteWorthy. My problem is that I have a whole note with an eighth note as a chord member and it will not allow me to do it. I just do not understand. In appearance there is a whole note with an eighth note lined up parallel 2 spaces below it, so I assumed it was a chord. Help would be greatly appreciated!

What problem are you experiencing? You should be able to enter this without any problem. Type these keys in order while in NWC:

<Enter>
<Down Arrow>
<Down Arrow>
<Down Arrow>
<Down Arrow>
4
<Ctrl+Enter>

That should look like what you described.
