Two in the place for three

Converting that file I got the warning
"Tuplet 2/3 can't be processed.
  Staff: P1/staff-2/voice-3, measure: 38"
This can be solved using this trick:
Code: (nwc) [Select · Download]
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.751,Single)
|User|TupletMarks.fso|Pos:11.5|span:2|number:2
|Note|Dur:8th,Dotted,Slur|Pos:7|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=First,XDotSpace=-1
|Note|Dur:8th,Dotted|Pos:6|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=End,XDotSpace=-1
|User|TupletMarks.fso|Pos:10.5|span:2|number:2
|Note|Dur:8th,Dotted,Slur|Pos:5|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=First,XDotSpace=-1
|Note|Dur:8th,Dotted|Pos:4|Opts:Stem=Down,Beam=End,XDotSpace=-1
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End
This is just for information; I think implementing it in the program is too much hassle for too little.  O:)

By the way: the music notated in NWC is attached here. No need to say that it's a joke a friend of mine sent me!  :))
"Genetliaco" is a very erudite form of "birthday"...

I have come across this problem and what I do is instead of the two crotchets I put two dotted crochets and then increase the tempo by 1/3. I have attached a work in progress < Beethoven's Emperor concerto where in bar 41 you have to play 7 notes in the right hand to six in the left and you can see how I get round this by adding an extra bit to the left hand and increasing the tempo by the same ratio.
I hope this helps.

I would just place the crotchets, then add text dots that are position left at next note bar - pad the text entry with leading spaces to position the dot where you want it.  No messing around with tempos, which would affect other staves that may not have tuplets to worry about.
I plays 'Bones, crumpets, coronets, floosgals, youfonymums 'n tubies.

This web page can help with various tuplets: pentuplets.html and it is run on all staves. Click on the "How to use" button first.

This requires the use of "muted, displayed" and "hidden, played" staves for non-tuplet staves.

Arguably, you could put a bunch of restchords with hidden rests in the right hand and fiddle the rest portion values to fit it in, BUT you can't beam restchords, and the playback wouldn't be quite right as it would inevitably be uneven.

Sadly, tuplets have always been something of a bugbear in NWC.

Check out Warren's post above.
