How to Convert MID to WAV or MP3 in high quality?

There are many programs, perhaps already on your computer,  that will produce a WAV file when recording. Start the recording process and play your miidi or NWC file. If you need more sophisticated  processing, Magix or n-track are good programs for creating CD's and MP3's.

A quick search of this site returned the following (among lots of others), perhaps something here will help fill in the gaps for you:

For myself, I have a Creative sound card which gives me a "What-U-Hear" option in Audacity which I use for the odd time I want to create a wav or mp3 from my NWC files.

If your sound card isn't full duplex then a Timidity type solution is more likely to be useful to you.
I plays 'Bones, crumpets, coronets, floosgals, youfonymums 'n tubies.

MP3 is a standard format that goes very wide (iphones, etc.) and is available all over the internet. I would guess that most Noteworthy users would appreciate mp3 and wav export output by Noteworthy.
It is irksome to use separate software to convert midi to mp3. This means multi-step conversion.
Winamp and Audacity uses the free LAME plugin to convert "what you hear" to MP3.
LAME is becoming a de facto standard MP3 plugin and is free.
I understand that there are some issue using a free product in a licensed product, but Noteworthy can follow the same route as Winamp or Audacity.

This will be very valuable from a sales point of view for Noteworthy. Noteworthy is much cheaper than, and even superior to other similar software, but the others benefit from a wider range of outputs. Our school children cannot afford the others, but Noteworthy sales might benefit immensely from reduced scholar bulk rates and adding the wav and mp3 facilities. Our schools use Sibelius.
