Beaming Stem-Up & Stem-Down Without Layering 2003-09-21 05:49 pm Has anyone found a way to beam notes with the stems in both directions? I am writing a piece where the tenor part divides into 2 parts on the same staff. In know this can be accomplished by layering. However, I only need this function in 2 of 104 measures. I searched the archives but only found responses for older versions of NWC.Thanks Quote Selected
Re: Beaming Stem-Up & Stem-Down Without Layering Reply #1 – 2003-09-21 06:49 pm Assuming the notes are of equal length first force stem up and enter the note (shift/up arrow). Then shift/down and press cntl/enter and you're done. Quote Selected
