Ctrl+↑↓ already has a function, as do
Shift+Ctrl+↑↓ and
Alt+↑↓
However,
Shift+Alt+↑↓
might be a candidate.

If you want to raise all notes in the selection by an octave, run the User Tool: 'Pitch Mod (nwsw)' with:
