Drum music 1999-02-14 05:00 am When writing drum rolls in drum music a roll played with demi-semiquavers for the count of a smeibrave (say) would be written by placing a smibreve in the bar with 3 backward tails over the note. This save the mess of writting 32 demi-semiquavers in one bar. Is there any way of getting noteworthy to do this.Bongo (Derby Midshipmen Marching Band) www.middies.demon.co.uk Quote Selected
Re: Drum music Reply #1 – 1999-02-14 05:00 am These "tremolo bars" are available in Barry Graham's "Boxmarks" font. For the staff that does the sounding you'll still need to write out the actual notes, but you can have a second muted "visual" staff for printing or viewing. If you don't have Boxmarks yet, I strongly suggest getting it because it has become the de facto standard "accessory" font for NWC. You can pick it up from the Scriptorium at:helpful.htmlRegards,Fred Quote Selected
