Iteresting sound loss from USB keyboard

Good Afternoon:

We have recently purchased 25user site licence for our school.

This was after we installed the demo version on a few computers.

The demo version is able to playback the musical notes as you compose a sample song using the usb music keyboard.

However, installing the 'fully licensed' version on other computers which didnt have the demo before (and which are of the same make and model number, and have all been cloned from a master build), i cannot get the musical keyboard to playback as you compose.

This is very strange and im hoping that theres other users outhere that have found a way to solve this.

These computers are all in a single IT suite and they are running WinXP SP3, with i5 3.4MGhz processor and 3Gb of RAM.
They keyboard that im using to install is an M-Audio KeyRig-49.

As i said, it is strange that Midi playback using the KEyRig works on the demo version of NoteWorthy Composer but not when using its  'fully-licenced' counterpart.

If anyone knows what i can do, or if it needs any extra plugins (as audacity needs LAME MP3) then pretty please can you post this info here?

Many many thanks.

A felow user

Not sure if I correctly understood your problem, but it seems a problem of
Tools->Options->Midi->Play notes on entry.

Or, perhaps,
Tools->Options->Record->Echo MIDI input

Hi there:

Thank you very much for your reply.  I didnt see this option when i looked... not that i panicked.. :D

i will deff give this a go.

Can i also ask you if you know:

whether this setting will propagate to every user that logs in or will they have to check this option themselves?

or

is there is a registry key setting that i can set so that every user that logs in has this enabled by default?

Many thanks for your help.

If there is, it will be under:
Quote
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NoteWorthy Software\NoteWorthy Composer 2
If you have admin rights to your network, it should be possible to propagate the relevant enties to the users that need them.
