Beamed notes with a rest between them?

I'm sure I've seen a message telling how to create a couple of beamed notes with a rest between them. Is there a search method to find this in the archives? How does one find a specific subject among 900 messages?

You go to http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/nwcforum/offline.htm
and download the offline version of the Forum. Then you can do an index or word search of the whole 900 messages!

Thanks, Andrew. I DL'ed the Forum and created a Folder on my harddrive. Now when I have a question, I look there first. It's a great idea.

I believe that question was answered once before by NWC support. It can't be done unless you use the experimental feature and overlay staffs.
