Percussion drumkit(instr) change?

How do you change the drum set for the percussion channel (10)?

I remember in the 1.75 version, all you need to do is change the instrument number to 1,2,9,17,26,27 etc... on a channel 10 staff to change drum kits.

In NWC 2.5 using send patch no longer works.  Do you need to send Bank select?

Sending a patch change still works in version 2.
Does your synth support percussion patch changes to produce another drum kit?
What is your output device?

nvm, it's my synth that's bugged.  I'm using Timidity++, that thing is garbage ;[
