New to Noteworthy

I feel like a kid in a candy store. The noteworthy system "rules". I've spent a couple of days reading threads(?) and found a lot of helpful advice. When a message is referred to by number, how do you locate that? Is there a search mechanism to help prevent reiterating questions?

Thanks in advance for your help and for making such a wonderful program available to the "ordinary" people.

If you click on the message number, it should take you to that message. Then click Back to return to the current messages.

There is many ways to get help on this wonderful product.

Online:
1. Use the http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/search.htm link (at the top of the page) for finding quickly what you search for;
2. do not neglect the usertips (go there by using the "New" link, at http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/sitemap.htm : many reg'd users put some hints there;
3. ask for questions (here or at the newsgroup) if you didn't find the answer to your problem.

Offline:
1. the ..."online" help (F1 in NWC) of course, is precious. As well as the samples that come along NWC.
2. But also the "offline forum", get it at http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/nwcforum/offline.htm (if you use Win3.* then you'll need win32s add-on to make it work) which is the complete forum archives in a one-file help system. The latest version is from 15Nov (with one update per month, mor or less).
3. The offline version of the newsgroup (text only) exists too, thanks to Richard.
4. The NWC Scriptorium, entirely by NWC users, at http://noteworthy.beyondtheweb.com/ : in particular the CommandSummary (PDF or PostScipt formats).

Hope this helps (I'm sure I forgot other help tools!)

Dominique (happy reg'd user)

P.S. Welcome to this wonderful world
