Another alignment problem

In the attached file I was able to fit the glissando mark in the first part of the score.
Near the end, the notes in the second staff (contrappunto) don't allow the same trick to work.
Any idea?

N.B. NWC 2.5 file.

Silly me!
I was trying to put the first note closer to the glissando sign (or vice versa).
The easiest way is instead to add space after the sign to balance the distances like that:

Code: [Select · Download]
!NoteWorthyComposerClip(2.5,Single)
|MPC|Controller:pitch|Style:Linear Sweep|TimeRes:Sixteenth|SweepRes:128|Pt1:0,8192|Pt2:2,8192|Pt3:2,0|Pos:8|Wide:Y
|Note|Dur:4th|Pos:0|Opts:Stem=Up
|Spacer|Width:0
|Text|Text:"g"|Font:User1|Pos:-4|Wide:Y|Justify:Right
|MPC|Controller:pitch|Style:Absolute|TimeRes:Quarter|SweepRes:128|Pt1:0,8192|Pos:8|Wide:Y
|Spacer|Width:110
|Note|Dur:8th|Pos:-2
!NoteWorthyComposerClip-End

Bah! Forgive me.

Ah! ,  now I understand what you were asking.  I looked yesterday and didn't see the glissando sign (I was expecting the other one - the wavy one). When I didn't see it in your score, I was going to come back here and ask where you meant.

Never mind, you answered your own posting.

Well, maybe the question isn't as stupid as it seemed... or I'm more stupid than I think.

Look at the following example:

Not really.

My idea was simply to "bend down" the B (at the end of a theme) then start the new theme with the C, not to glide from B to C.

In this case, if I got it right, the glissando must be almost attached to the B and well inclined downward (the wavy line is ok) and the C must be well separated from the glissando.

I'm not sure I explained it well.
I should look for an example.

You are possibly looking for a drop or fall, described <here>.
Any of Lawrie's "Dings" have a variety of glyphs for these. (see the attachment)

To place them so that they "stick" to the note, use: Justify:Left, Placement:AtNextNote
Use spaces to cause the glyph to start after the notehead.

Yes, right that.

You forgot a detail: the text must be placed BEFORE the note!
Good idea.
Thanks

Sorry, I thought that 'Placement:AtNextNote' carried that implication. Given the 'World Wide' nature of the 'World Wide Web' it is perhaps unfortunate that Esperanto failed so miserably :)
