NWC Scriptorium open for business!

Folks!

The NWC Scriptorium, at http://noteworthy.beyondtheweb.com/ is now operational. It currently houses:
Barry Graham's NWC documentation (in numerous formats converted by Fred Nachbaur),
Adam's famous Passion Play,
about 20 of "my favourite things",
Barry and Drake's drumkit.zip,
Barry's boxmarks, and
the newsgroup archive (up to October) courtesy of Richard Woodroffe.

I now hesitantly invite you - one at a time - to offer your
pieces-de-resistance for inclusion in the database.

Unfortunately, item addition is still manual, so I ask the following:
1) ZIP it (if poss.) and post it to apurdam@pcug.org.au with the following
info.
For example:
Title: Castilla (Seguidillas) Op 47. Part 7
Composer: Albeniz, Isaac (1860-1909), Spanish
Categories: Romantic
Instruments: Piano
Creator: Andrew Purdam
Email: apurdam@pcug.org.au
Comments: From Suite Espanola

If you don't have bio on the composer, don't worry, I've got several books to help with that! (Michael Nachbaur has suggested that we augment the biogs with links to composer sites, etc which I think may be a neat idea once we're up and running with the database proper).

Have fun! And remember: Walk, don't run!

Andrew

Bump!

Missed the anniversary by 13 days (my number :D)

It's very glad to see how much distance the Scriptorium has come to. Much good music, helpful stuff and a great community.

Three cheers for the NWC Scriptorium and to the memory of dear Fred Nachbaur.

I haven't been here for awhile. Has Fred Nachbaur passed on? I'm very sorry to hear it.
