Key updating

It seems that, if you change a key, the following one is automatically updated (visually) only if it's in the next 10 bars.

Not a big problem for the key is still somehow correct and the playing is ok.
Furthermore, when saving everything is correctly updated.
Perhaps max 10 bars is a bit scarce.

But I wonder: why there is a limit at all? Aren't computer fast enough today?
