balance

I was just wondering if there was any way I could adjust the balance using Noteworthy with out the use of a mixer.

Press F2 (Properties for Staff), click the "MIDI" tab and look at "Stereo Pan". You can change this for left/right balance - "0" is full left and "127" is full right I believe. Also look at "Part Volume", right above "Stereo Pan". You can adjust each individual staff's volume with this control, "127" is the loudest and "0" is the softest. Hope this is what you were looking for.

Yes, I also think that you can change stereo pan in the middle
of a score, thanks to a "multi point controller".

Also note that some cards do not sounds the panoramic correctly.
My SB card just "sounds" 3 positions: left, middle, right. 30 is like 0, 32 like 63. But I guess the score I wrote sound better on better cards (I use 0, 42, 86 and 127 for 4 parts).
Though you can duplicate a staff and adjust the volume to hear it at the proper place... but you need to change the channel, so it limits the number of parts.
