NWC Pedal Marks and Controller...

Pedal effect is also included in controller(mpc).
It is to modulate 0 to 127.

But there is only 0 and 127 in NWC.
(Pedal down is 127, Pedal release is 0.)



Can't NWC modulate pedal between 0 ~ 127?

it is a different controller (#4) than is used by:

The Sustain Controller (#64) is either On or Off
0 to 63 is Off. 64 to 127 is On.
Using values of 1 to 126 would not expand the Sustain Controller's abilities.

Then, there are two kinds of pedal: sustain, soft.
NWC offers sustain, not soft.


How about 'soft' pedal controller?

As you say, NoteWorthy doesn't support it. Many synths do, but my experience is that it does not sound much different than lowering volume or expression. For a piano, IMO, una corda should be a Program Change (or Bank Select). It needs to produce a thinner sound for the higher notes.
