Trouble with 10 + staves 2009-01-30 07:09 pm I run into trouble when I score a piece of music with 10 or more staves. Sometimes the instruments on staves 10 + wind up sounding like some other instrument. I think it has to do with the staff properties and the channel. Quote Selected

The short answer is that MIDI Channel 10 is reserved for percussion, and you can't assign another instrument to it.
