Keyboards

Dear all,
Hi. I am in the process of buying a new keyboard. I was looking at the Yamaha PSR630, which has XG. Do you know if Noteworthy supports XG voices?? Also what keyboard would you suggest to use with Noteworthy, in the same price range???
Thank you for any help

Jonathan

Hi,

I have a Yamaha XG PSR-530 which has the same voices as you
do, and you can use all of the Yamaha XG voices.

To do this, first choose the "Instrument patch" option.
Then, click on the "Select a Different Patch Bank" option.

Now get out the Yamaha manual, and turn to the back of the
book where the "Voice List" table is.

To make things easier I change the Patch List Type to
0-based so that it coincides with the table which is 0-based
as well.

Find the instrument you want from the table.

Enter the values for MSB (controller 0) and
LSB (controller 32) and select the
MIDI Program number (Patch Name).

Away it goes!! Using this option its even possible to
access all the drum kits as well!

Hope this helps.

Hi. I have a KORG X5D keyboard. It have a good sound and
it is working well with NWC 1.51a. I'm working every days
over clasical music. If compare it price with sound, result
a not spenciff keyboard. It cost is $1,500 (in Argentina). In EE.UU may be it is chiper.(I'm sorry my English). But exist the ALESIS keyboard with a sampler card. It sound are
fantastic, and it price round about a $1200 to $2000 ( in
this country)
