chord ripple symbol

Is there a way to show a chord ripple (the zigzag vertical line) ?

G'day welldriller,
the "ripple" or arpeggiate symbol is available as a text character...

I've been looking for another thread that discussed this but I haven't found it so I'll just have to try here...

On the Scripto (http://nwc-scriptorium.org/) there is a section with "helpful files" (http://nwc-scriptorium.org/helpful.html). In this section are lots of fonts.

Amongst them is one called "Boxmark2". There are also some suites that I've created called: "SwingDings", "MusikDingsSans" and "MusikDingsSerif".

Boxmark2 and the title fonts from the 3 suites all contain an arpeggiate symbol accessible as a lower case 'c'. To use it, simply:

Download and install the desired font(s) - if you haven't already got 'em that is.
Assign the chosen font as a "User" font in |Page|Setup|Fonts tab|
Insert a text entry before the chord containing 'c ' (the letter c followed by a space) specifying the chosen User font
Ensure that placement is set as Right justified at next note/bar and adjust vertical position to suit
If the line is not long enough, simply place 2 identical entries, one higher than the other and they will overlap*

* The Boxmark2 and SwingDings symbol doesn't overlap very well, but the MusikDingsSans and MusikDingsSerif version have been reworked to overlap exactly (or as best as I could get anyhow)

Please note that this is a text symbol only, it doesn't affect playback. To get the playback right you need to create a hidden, sounding staff with the arpeggiation written out.
