Can a voice change staffs?

Hi all,

During eval of 1.51 I ran across a problem that I can't seem to resolve.
Say I have a simple piano score with a Treble and Bass clef. The 2 parts
are in octaves and are descending down the scale. In typical piano notation,
once the note on the Treble clef reaches around middle-C, it jumps to the
Bass clef (usually a diagonal line indicates to follow this voice to the
next staff down) and continues on down the scale. The top staff is left blank
without rests indicating the notes are not to be played just by the left
hand, but rather by both hands. At some point, the notes played by the right
hand once again ascend above middle-C and a diagonal line leads the musician's
eyes back up to the top staff.

Is this type of notation supported?

Thanks,
Mike

That's right. The short answer is no (at the moment).
That's why I think having the option of not displaying rests when printing would be damned useful.
Then all we'd need would be some way of drawing lines from one note in a staff to another note in another staff (and I bet that THAT'S non-trivial!)

You can fake the line with Insert Text using a backslash in a large font.
