Importing MIDI -- 128th notes 2006-02-10 04:44 pm Here's a problem I've never solved: When importing MIDI files, I get 64th notes, 128th notes, etc, even though I've set the resolution to eighth notes. I'm sure others have come across this. Is there any solution -- it's a lot of work to fix up a file after importing. Quote Selected

One obvious occasion is when consecutive note on/off pairs occur in a time shorter than the note resolution. When NWC sees this, it keeps the notes separate, as they were sounded, rather than combining them into a chord.The shortest note duration created during NWC import is 64th notes. Quote Selected
