yamaha voices 2005-05-17 03:46 pm I just bought a Yamaha DGX-305 keyboard. I am able to play my NWC songs directly through the Keyboard. Sounds great. I would like to select the voices on the keyboard using the instrument selection on NWC. Do I need to use another type of MIDI to be able to do this? Can anyone help. ThanksPasta Quote Selected
Re: yamaha voices Reply #1 – 2005-05-22 03:18 am I don't think NotworthyComposer can send MIDI system exclusive messages to control your keyboard/synth, but this is not necessary for a Noteworthy file to play back with the instruments selected in each staff. If you want to change instrument for a staff, first select the staff with Page Up or Page Down, hit F2 to bring up Staff Properties, and click on the Instrument Tab, select the instrument from there.
