You can build your own fretboard diagram for guitar chords, using the "FretQwik" user font. Find it at the Scriptorium, or by Internet search.

There are two ways to enter just the chord symbols, if you don't want to use fretboard charts.

One is to enter each chord above the staff, using Insert Text.  This can be very time consuming.

The other way is to use the lyric editor (control-L) on a new staff, which you will layer under your top staff.  Use hidden, muted notes in this staff to set the placement of the chord names.  The opening screen for lyrics allows you to place the "lyric" above the staff.

Alt-0176 gives you the diminished sign ° if you need it.
