Assignment for composers

Hello all you most creative composers out there,
Is there anyone who can create a different arrangement from the main tune? This is the loved and dreaded Schnappi, the little crocodile. Try your hand...

Well, that did not work very well. The link seemed to point to the song, but it did not. Have been trying to find it, but the croc hid itself. Later, maybe... it's all around over the www, but mostly on German sites.

O really? Never heard the Birthday Dirge, or anything like it? Or Three Blind Mice, in a different setting?
I am quite convinced that our seasoned Noteworthy enthusiasts can convert 'even' Schnappi into something noteworthy, in both senses of the word.

And it's a sheer fun tune - it did not reach # 1 for no reason. Check out the fora - most reactions are very positive. To my surprise, I must add.
