grace notes or flams

Is there a way to notate grace notes or in the case
of the percussion.. flam notes? I haven't had any major
problems with my noteworthy of late except haven't figured
out this particular notation yet.. when I make something for
my students then I have to print and write in the grace
notes by hand.. what a nuisance.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes. In version 1.5 and beyond, grace notes are implemented.
They do play back on midi, and there has been considerable discussion about how this should be done.
The Grace-Note button looks like to notes, one smaller one scrunched up next to the bigger one.
Or you can use the "=" key to select grace note mode, or to change the grace-note-ness of selected notes.

Thanks... I realized shortly after I posted
the question that it was a matter of
upgrading my software.. I did that
and now I have the grace notes such
as they are...
