In your post, you asked:

1) how creating a complete blank stave?

In NWC, a blank staff is simply an empty staff. You cannot use NWC to simply print blank pages, as the staff only expands when notes, rests, and other elements are added.

2) how creating a non complete bar staves'score

Staves are added from the Score Builder, on the Tools menu. You can add notes, rests, bar lines, and other items as you see fit from the Insert menu.

3) how superimposing a note and a rest ?

A note and rest can be combined into a chord by first placing the rest. Note that rests are considered to have a stem direction in this scenario. Details are in the help file section for Insert Chord Member.

I hope this helps.

However, I highly recommend a Freeware product called Guido for printing of blank manuscript paper. The version I have is designed to work with A4 paper, but is easily adjusted to work with 8.5x11" if that's what you're using. Guido allows you to set the number of staves per system, the number of systems per page, and the margins, and it sets up the page very nicely for you.

You should be able to locate Guido by doing a Websearch. I got it on a CD-ROM, so don't have a URL to provide. If you can't find it, though, email me and I will arrange to get you a copy.
