Copying Lyrics

Is there any way to copy lyrics from one staff to another?
If I'm doing SATB with one voice per staff, it would great
to type in the lyrics just once and copy them to the other
parts and modify from there rather than typing them out for
each parts seperately.
Also; is there any way to clear individual entries in
the history function?
I've not been able to find any info in the help files for
either of these.

Copying lyrics from one staff to another is straightforward.
Just use copy (CTRL/C) and paste (CTRL/V) to copy through
the clipboard, as in any Windows app. You also can save time
and typing effort by copying segments of lyric that repeat.

As for deleting History entries, why bother? Don't the
older ones just fade away naturally while the recent, more
active ones dominate?

If you have to edit the History list, this can be done using
Notepad. Load nwc.ini from your Windows Directory and you
will find the History list. Edit this, but make a backup
copy first just in case! Don't remove anything to the left
of the '=' sign, and if you take out an intermediate entry
you need to shuffle up the lower entries. Hardly seems
worth it really. You can of course clear the whole history
list using the 'Clear' Button on the History Form.
