drumsets

how do I get the traditional drumset and the fx set to play together?

Simply, you can't.

The midi system is built so that one channel can only play one instrument/patch/bank at a time, so you can't use two drumsets at a time.

Jussi's right. However, if you have two independant midi playback devices, both capable of selecting different drum banks, then you can select the appropriate device in the Staff Properties | Midi Tab device pulldown.
