Fermata

How do I add a fermata (you know, the semi-circle with a dot in the middle of it), above a note. It refuses to add it. Yet It is well and truely above the last note in NWC's sample of 'The First Nowlell'
Help!!

Try removing the 'preserve width' cross in the display characteristics box before clicking on OK to enter the fermata.

The fermata is on the Tempo Variance item. You can either insert this yourself, or copy and paste the item from the sample song.
