Note ties (Bug?)

version 1.5 Beta

In a second ending, I have a time signature change from
3/4 time to cut time. To allow for a pick up note in the
cut time section, I placed a time signature change
between a tied whole note and a dotted half.

The problem is that there are two ties displayed.
One from the whole note to the cut-time symbol and a
second tie from the cut-time symbol to the dotted half note
following. This sure looks wierd. Can this be the correct
notation?

I know, I am experiencing the same problem. Perhaps it IS the correct notation, but it sure looks awful.

This is just the way NWC works at the moment (and has done so since slurs and ties were supported). This is done, in general, to keep slurs and ties from reaching past a time signature at the beginning of a section or excerpt. We will explore ways to do this better, but for now this is how it works.
