Speaking of bugs...

There was a bug in the previous version which has been fixed.  The nature of this bug was such that a hidden item placed between a bar line and the first visible item in the measure (be it a note or text expression or what-have-you) would cause a compression in that measure.  I actually used to use this to my advantage at times, say when [abbr=great program, by the way!]NWC[/abbr] would place five measures on one line, but I needed six (for a variety of reasons).  The bug in the previous version was predictable; I could use it as a "helper," not a "hinderer."  A similar bug exists in the current version of [abbr=wonderful stuff!]NWC[/abbr], but I have not yet been able to determine how to use it with any reliability.  Yes, I know this will all become moot with the next upgrade, but this was on my mind...
