How do I load a midi file and convert it to alla breve "cut time

How do I load a midi file and convert it to alla breve "cut time"  I need to do this to print the charts.  These are midi files that were created on another program but I want to conver them to "alla breve" or cut time for the musicians who are going to read them

Here is what can be said without knowing the song details such as alternating key signatures etc.

  • Load the midi file in [abbr=NoteWorthy Composer; the only piece of commercial software that I feel happy for promoting anyway...]NWC[/abbr];
     
  • Locate the existing time signature;

  • Delete the time signature and insert a "cut time" instead;

  • Tools > Audit Bar Lines.
