Number of bar-line

May I know how to put number/sequence of bar-line automatically? Thanks.
(I don't want to use insert text, it takes time & need to count manually)

Example:  1, 5, 15, 20, 25, 30, 25...etc

You will find a selection for measure numbering.

If you need exact increments (as 5 in your example) to show up on your printout, I'm afraid you'll have to use text items, unless your score just happens to work out to five measures per system.

However, the native bar numbering can still be very helpful. At least you won't have to count bars manually; you can just put your text items where you want them, then turn the automatic bar numbering feature off again before printing.
