Re: More legato, please! Reply #1 – 2002-07-13 04:05 pm Add a "legato" performance instruction (keyboard shortcut "p"). "Tenuto" does the same thing. "Staccato" makes the notes shorter, everything else restores the default "marcato" behaviour.Also, it should be noted that slurs will accomplish the same effect (unless you've already invoked the legato performance style).
