Sound Problems

For some reason, after I installed Notworthy Composer on my grandparents computer, the sound was incredably low. i jacked the sound up on thier computer and I still had to jack the speakers up (Fairly crapy ones, but they play things loudly).  I think thier midi sound is messed! What sould I do?

P.S. please help me!

Did you check the Windows Volume/Mixer settings? If not, then that is the first thing you should do.

If you are not sure what this is, then select Start | Run, and type in:

Sndvol32.exe

and press Enter. The mixer will appear.
