Recording Midi in real-time

Hi, have downloaded this really great program to allow us to play new music on a Yamaha PSR-260, then create the sheet music. We are still in the evaluation stage.

Our problem is when we record the key press is not the same beat as displayed note. We have looked over the FAQs and can not see any clues. Can anyone offer a suggestion?

We are not musicians, but just wanting to record what we are feeling musically as a new hobby. If we record the music with a midi recorder, this saved MIDI file converts just fine to what we want using noteworthy.

PC P166, 64M ram Sound Creative CT4130, midi via joystick.
Keyboard Yamaha PSR-260
Software Noteworthy Composer 1.75 Shareware

Thanks in advance to all for any help you may offer.
P.S. If we purchase do you ship disks to Australia?

This is explained in the FAQ entry on this subject.

The trick is load up a file that will be used as your rhythm track while you are recording your performance. You need to play along with an existing NWC file while you are recording.

Yes, we ship to Australia.
