x notes

Could anyone please advice on how to properly notate "x" notes. I have a composition where I need to notate a rap. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.

Now listen up, homies, gonna lay this down.
Yeah you better pay attention 'cause I ain't no clown.
What you gotta do for x-notes when you're laying rap
Is a two-stage process, so that it's a snap.
Is lay the rhythm down using ordinary notes
Then hide those "[censored]" as I'd say in quotes.
How you do this is the hidden attribute, homie.
Then to make some Xs showing where the notes should be,
Place them one by one, where you like, as text.
That's another music problem solved, Jack. Next?

You said it, Fred! By the way, I thought that rap was notated using M and F rather than X.

No, "mf" stands for "mezzo forte".

...I won't dare to modify this estonishing reply of Joe Music!, but I'm pleased to announce that there will be a "x" symbol in next boxmark2 release. Hoping it'll be better than an "x" text symbol!
I had included it after my hard disk crashed, from the backup I made 5 months ago :(. I just now have to re-create symbols as (/\/\/\ and some others, and I'll let you know where to DL it.

Brgds,
