lyrics at bar 16?

just bought noteworthy so i can do my own notation (not everyone can read my handwriting). as per standard sheet music and how i write, the lyrics don't usually start until several bars into the music, and unfortunately, i can't get noteworthy to start my lyrics where i expect to be able to put it. so how do i do it? i've just notated a piece and i want the lyrics to start at bar 16, but i can't do it! if someone can point out the obvious solution (no workarounds please, i just want it to work easily, a click here and a click there, done, that kind of thing) then this could be the start of a good friendship!
cheers

Select the starting notes, go to Edit | Properties, Notes tab, and change the Lyric Syllable option to never for the notes that you do not want to have a lyric. You can also use special characters in the lyric to skip syllables, as explained in the User's Guide and Help file.
