Its done! 2001-06-09 04:00 am Finally! And believe it or not, this song has been written, and plays back to me! Now, I want to make separate staves for each of 3 part harmony, and record each part separately for the singers to learn from, providing I can send them the song by email....again, a deadline is upon us (me) Is there a shortcut to grabbing just the notes that I want out of each chord and copying to a new staff? Re: Its done! Reply #1 – 2001-06-09 04:00 am I use the standard Windows keyboard shortcuts: CNTL-C to copy, CNTL-V to paste, CNTL-X to cut. Oh yes, and CNTL-Z to undo. ;-) Quote Selected

Re: Its done! Reply #3 – 2001-06-11 04:00 am You should have written the song using staff layering, with one layer per voice. Now, the best thing to do is create two more layers (staves), copy the entire first staff into the other layers, then delete the unwanted notes by hand. Yes, this last part is painful, but there is no way around it. Quote Selected
