Web Service Release Packs

It seems to me that most of the Web Service Release Packs could pass as new versions of NWC. Number five would then be the real Web Service Release Pack but, if NWC does not want to get to version 2.0 then that's fine with me.

The only trouble with this policy is, we'll be expecting something REALLY special for release 2.0! (Not that NWC 1.x isn't special, of course!)

FranMan has a point. Potential new users of NWC might see all those service packs, and come to the erroneous conclusion that NWC is buggy and needs lots of fixes.

The reality is that NWC is one of the least buggy programs I own of any description, and the "service packs" often contain upgrades.

Yes, and I felt it semi-hard to explain in my read me to my friend that you had to install NWC1.7 and then the service packs.

Heres an idea,
Why not call them "Enhancement Packs" so it sounds alot better to the new users.
