NoteWorthy Player wishes

I'd like to solicit feedback on a few ideas, all.

1. A special "Save as" format from NWC to create a .nwp file. This file could be read by NWP but not NWC. This would make it more secure when posting songs on the web.

2. The ability to mute staves in NWP. Shouldn't be a problem in the stand-alone player, but might need to be based on MIDI channels in the WinAMP and plug-in variations. I use NWC for choral music, and post to the web for practicing. W/O a staff mute, I have to create separate versions for each vocal part.

3. Related to the above -- staff hide.

4. Ability to scroll through score when not actively playing, and the ability to "click and play" from any point in the score. (Or, ability to "goto measure" and play from there.)

I'm not sure if these are easily attainable in the player, but they all exist in the composer so I'm hoping they'd be relatively easy -- at least its not having to invent all new stuff.

Re: 1 through 3: I agree these would be good features.

Re: 4: This facility exists to a degree in the browser plug-ins, in which you have a scroll bar that you can drag anywhere into the piece once it's started playing. A Goto Bar xxx would be nice.

You mean like Control-G (the GoTo bar feature)?

Yeah, like that, except in the Player(s).
