Ever Wondered?

Have you ever noticed that from time to time, comments appear on the forum from new names that do not appear to have tried NWC? That is, it seems that the person is not a potential new user, but someone who came to the forum directly, without seeing any other part of the NWC web site, or even knowing that there is a NWC program?!

I now realize why this may occur: The NWC forum activity is read by search engines (e.g., Yahoo!). A search inquiry may lead a random Internet cruiser directly into the forum, without going through any other part of the site.

This is not unique to the NWC forum. Many other user groups have their user-to-user/newbie communications listed. I suppose it is usually a good thing.

This is very true. You can tell that things like "Convert MIDI into WAV" and "Mini Discs" are topics that draw surfers that have no experience with NWC. So far, no harm done...
