Printing partialy entered song

I have tried to print a partialy entered song with Soprano partialy entered, Alto completed, nothing in Tenor. Soprano is declared as layered to Alto but at page setup layering is not allowed. Lyrics have been declared and entered only in the Alto staff.
Printing or print preview do not go farther that what has been entered in Soprano. Is this a bug or a feature ?
I think that, for checking purpose, all that has been entered should be printed even if not all the part have been completed.

It is always best to print a collection of staves that are of equal length. NWC does not force this issue, but you will get better results that way. Results will vary when the bar line count and measure duration do not match between parts in the printed system.

A ma connaissance, NWC prévisualise/imprime jusqu'à la fin de la "topmost" portée.
You still may add "rest measures" (whole rest + bar) at the end of the unfinished business :-)
(BTW, I often use this technique when writing fugues, for a better navigation between staves)

The remark made by Marsu is very interesting. This looks like the bug report in https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=1377.msg6985#msg6985 : "Currently, only the top staff in the layer is considered and the rest are ignored."
Does the same fix or a similar one correct the problem : it is easier to check on paper a total view of what has been already entered than a partial view on screen.

Our reply (Reply 1) is the official answer. As Marsu pointed out, you can pad an incomplete staff with whole measure rests to conform to NWC requirements.

moreover, I find it's more easily to see what's done and what's not on screen:
1. go to any staff
2. simply type 'End' key : you'll be at the end of the staff
3. use pgUp or pgDn to move up/down one staff (you may also use the vertical scrollbar if present)

You'll perfectly see if there are missing measures!
